I am no longer able to send email from windows explorer. I did something so
I could view raw files . but now I cannot highlight a picture file and attach
it to email. it acts like it isgoing to do it by asking if I want to make
the picts smaller I say yes and nothing happens? Any Ideas of how to fix it
? I still want to use explorer to view raw files.

thanks in advance

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

===

If that fails, and if you are using Outlook Express...
try the following :

I cannot guarantee it, but the following method may work:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and enter the following:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg<
(copy paste everything between the > < but not including the > <)
(But first...Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure it is correct)

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...Tools / Internet Options /
Programs tab...and set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

Good luck.

Maybe the following instructions will be useful:

How to Set Outlook as the Default E-mail Client

Method 1:
1. Open Outlook.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Other tab.
4. Click to select the Make Outlook the default program for E-mail,
Contacts and Calendar check box.
5. Click OK.

Method 2:
1. Quit Outlook.
2. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
3. Double-click the Internet Options icon, and then click the Programs
tab.
4. In the E-mail list, click Microsoft Outlook, click Apply, and then
click OK.
