can briefcases be e-mailed and then be used to updated files on the recipient
computer?

Hi,

You mean to email the files in your briefcase and update the recipient's
versions? Well, yes, provided you a) email all the files needed and b) the
recipient chooses to save them and overwrite the existing ones.

thanx... great name! i just tried e-mailing a briefcase and apparently
but only the empty folder is mailed... so i suppose by simply e-mailing the
relevent files, i could overwrite them myself... if i put the files into a
briefcase at the receiving end, would i be able to overwrite the files any
easier??? (problem is old desktop has floppy but no burner; new laptop has
the opposite) gotta get a wire.

Hi,

If you are using WinXP Pro, have you looked into synchronizing offline
files? Might be easier for you if I read you correctly.
