briefcase related question

Hi:
Lately I am experiencing an issue with my briefcase folder. Inside my
briefcase I have files/folders that are reside on my work's file server and
when I bring my notebook back to home and want to access my briefcase again,
I will have to wait at least 30 sec in order to get access into it. However,
if I disconnect my network cable, then I can get into the briefcase
immediately. May I know if there is any option that I can change so that I
do not have to do this exercise everytime when I open it at home?

When you open My Computer/Tools menu/"Map network Drives" , you will see a
checkbox to uncheck for "Reconnect at logon"

Hi Mark:

Thank you for your reply. However, I did not have network drive mapped when
I was at home. Those files/folders exist in the briefcase just because I
copy them to briefcase for easy synchronization.
