E-mail Link

When I have an internet e-mail link, IE will not open
Outlook Express. I, obviously, went to Tools, Internet
Options, Programs, thinking that I may have the wrong
mail program picked and was shocked to find that the E-
mail program section is blank (ie, gives me NO e-mail
program options). I have tried to uninstall & reinstall
both IE6 and Outlook Express but that has not worked.
I'm sure it is a registry setting - anyone have any ideas
what it may be?

Hi Jody,

Go to Start | Run and type this command, with the double quotes and spaces:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

and then make sure that OE is selected as the default mail program in both
IE and OE.
