Even though I've got my IE6 Internet Options - Programs set to Microsoft
Office Outlook, when I click on any website e-mail link to send an e-mail to
that person, Outlook Express comes up. I really want Outlook to be the
default e-mail app in IE. I've been wrestling with this for quite some time.
Can anyone help?

Took me a while to figure out where your reply was ... I'm a relative newbie
to news forums. Missed your first line and was trying to clean a response
from all the stuff after your name. My bad!

That link worked but it had quite a few mistakes in the answer based on
which version of the Windows you had. In XP, making the change manually in
Windows Explorer, you need to choose Tools | Folder Options. On the File
Types tab, edit the Open event for "URL:MailTo Protocol" which is at the top
of the list. For Outlook enter in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" -c IPM.Note /m "%1".

Thanks for your help!
