DVI vs. Analog displays

I am looking at purchasing a new DELL desktop and I am getting a video card
that will allow me to connect 2 DVI displays or 1 DVI display and 1 Analog.
I do not currently have a DVI display, but figured if I upgrade to one
later, at least I will be capable of doing so.

What is the overall difference in comparing a 17 inch DVI flat panel vs. a
17 inch Analog flat panel?

Besides the money. the DVI is crisper, each pixel is
controlled , analog will be a little muddy because the
signals are subject to a little alignment problem.
