DVDs not detected by Windows Explorer

I installed AheadNero 6.3 on my computer but the program got stuck in the
middle of the process. I installed it again through a USB device and it
works. The only problem is that no CD or DVD starts up or is being detected
by Windows Explorer (the drive shows). The only CD that starts up is the
Operating System. I checked the System Information and found following
message: "The Device, \Device\CDROM0, has a bad block"

Anybody know what to do?
