DVD-ROM Failure

Hi, just a trivial one here. My DVD-ROM refuses to
install the software package on a CD for my printer
(Epson C42). Whenever i try to run it, it initiates the
installation process yet quits after about 5 seconds
without warning. The result is that I have no way of
changing the cartridges and am a bit stuck here. Other
CD/DVD's can be read alright though. I thought previously
that it was to do with access rights or the likes. Any
ideas on that? Cheers

See if the cd will run in another computer. If it gives you the same
error, then you know the cd is physically damaged. Contact Epson for
replacement. You can download drivers for the printer from Epson's
website, but there may be third-party software on the cd you'd like to
have.
