I travel a lot and my laptop is telling me that I can't
change regions anymore. Why is there this ridiculous

Hi Buddy...

Am sorry to say that you can change the code maximum to 7
times and after that it locks up. This is as per to the
international standard for security. So nothing can be
done now.

There are 2 programs that can be used for this purpose.
DVD region free is shareware and available as a 30 day trial. Costs $US39.95
to use after that. DVD region Killer is simpler and free. Both can be
downloaded from websites. A simple Google search will locate. Both programs
overide the restriction that you mention.
