DVD driver

I have a compaq Presario 2000, Window 2000 NT et Windows
Media Player. When I try to see a movie, the film starts
but after a few minutes, the picture becomes fixed and the
sound goes on. Any idea ?

DON'T use Media Player to watch DVD's.
It's not very good at it.

Use a commercial ($$$) DVD player.

Does this happen with all your DVD's or just one?

If just one, it's got a scratch...

Actually WMP uses whatever commercial DVD encoder you have installed so the
quality should be the same (it always has been in my case)
