DVD Drive

Friend cannot see DVD drive in either Roxio or Nero so they may burn, only
the CD drive shows up.
It shows OK in My Computer and in their device manager as a recording
device. Where else can we check or fix this?

Shakey, try a different program such as CD Burner XP. It's free. I would
remove Roxio
and Nero both from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. If they are the
latest versions try reinstalling them one at a time.

Thanks but that's not what I want. First she has a great presentation
complete with slides and sound made in Roxio that we want to burn. Second I
use Nero on my machine and love it, I see all my drives.

Shakey, Ok, I still would uninstall both programs and then reinstall
Roxio only.

She put Nero in on my suggestion as a possible debugging help so I will have
her pull it. As that's two program's doing the same thing I highly suspect
its not the programs but if no better suggestions come up I will suggest the
Roxio reinstall but that is a drastic move as it will loose the presentation
she put a lot of work into.
