DVD + CRRW as CD in My computer ?!

XP Home shows the DVD player and the CDRW as a normal CD
player in My computer.

What's wrong?

First, verify if the drives are compatible with Windows XP (verify the Windows Hardware Compatibility list HCL). If it is compatible, try the registry edit procedure explained in the 2nd link.
