Duplicate urls when sending hyperlinks via email in Outlook 2002

One of my users is having a following problem:
when she types a hyperlink in a message, say, www.aaa.com,
the recepients get the following: www.aaa.com<www.aaa.com>.
She is running Office 2002 SR-1.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
 
Go to Outlook Options and select compose this message format = "Html"
