ok heres a new one ... what is dual screen like ?? my gfx card has two monitor outputs and wondered what it would be like?

i have a choice here ... Get another 15inch monitor and run it in dual screen or get a 17inch or 19inch tft ... the dual screen option wil be cheaper ... but i don't get how you can play games, if you can even play games in dual screen mode.

and i think it would have a certain xfactor to it if i go with two screens :p

I cant think of anything worse than having a 15" monitor, let alone two of them!!

Get a 19" tft.

I'd go for a 17"/19" monitor too, dual monitors is mainly for developement work where it would be useful - not half as good for gaming.

I agree with Ian, multi-screen is fantastic for support and development, but I can't imagine anything worse than having a great big join down the middle of you gaming screen!

No matter how thin the bezels of your monitors are, you are always going to end up with something like a one inch dead space between your viewing areas.

Dual screen is excellent for designing and editing work, for gaming it may not have the advantage, as others have suggested a large screen would work better, 19 or 21 whatever your pocket allows ;)
