Dual LCD Query

I'm looking for a card that offers dual monitor connectivity for for
2D audio work with some video viewing. Looking for premium quality of
both text and graphics (2D graphics that include real-time
monitoring/editing of waveforms).

I have the opportunity to purchase an old Matrox G450 card. This card
has dual analog connnections only. I'm using Samsung 940B and Samsung
204B LCD monitors. Would the image quality using an analog:digital
adapter for each connection be equivalent to (say) a newer G650 dual
DVI (or similar)? Any opinions/recommendations on a solution to this?
