Hi Silver Soul,
Not having toyed much with Linux distros, about all I can offer is that when
you installed Fedora Core, the Linux bootloader (LILO or Grub) should have
detected both OS installations and configured itself to offer you the choice
of OS at startup. WINXP's boot manager cannot do this, as it doesn't
recognize the Linux partition's file system (Linux, however, does recognize
Windows' file systems).
You might do better at finding a solution if you do a search/post a question
here:

nux
or here:

nux.setup
or maybe poke around the FAQs etc., at these sites:

Help. Im trying to run windows xp for personal use and linux for business
development. If none of u got offended by this post i would greatly
appreciate it. I installed windows xp pro and Fedora Core 1 (linux) on
seperate partitions. I can only boot with windows xp. does anyone out there
know how to establish a dual boot environment?
by the way, windows xp doesn't see the partitions that are used by linux,
why?
