Triple boot vista, xp, and ubuntu

I have a dual booted computer with a 250GB HD running Windows XP Pro and
Ubuntu Linux 6.06LTS (dapper drake). I have the GRUB bootlader installed in
the MBR (Master Boot Record) so that when I boot I get a choice of booting
Ubuntu Linux or Microsoft Windows Xp Professional. I need help on Installing
Windows Vista RC1. I have Vista RC1 downloaded and copied onto DVD. My Linux
partitions are as follows:

/dev/sda5 - Linux ext3 (where ubuntu linux is installed) - 35GB
/dev/sda6 - Linux-swap (swap partition) - 5GB

Of course, these partitions are not visible to windows. My Windows
Partitions are:

C:/ - NTFS - WINDOWS (where windows is installed) - 100GB
E:/ - NTFS (where I plan to put Vista) - 90GB
F:/ - FAT32 (nothing in here) - 10GB

I need instructions on how to put Vista onto the E:/ drive (to triple-boot
the computer) without doing anything to GRUB, Windows XP, or Ubuntu Linux.

Help is appreciated

Really -Mate.

Why ask Msoft users how to do this type of stuff - you realy should be able
to find pleanty of info already existing on the net.

PS as precationary note.. I think Vista has a new boot loader that gets
called by ntldr
oh and next time please tell us more specifically - is Msoft on the same
scsi device as linux? - if not then just pull your scsi device out, and
install Vista, then put it back in and add your DDed MBR to grub. OR
alternatevely I don't think you'll have to do anything what would happen is
that your existing Grub load to your Msoft Hardrive will just call the new
Vista Boot Loader, Giving you an option to start either XP or vista.

-Good Luck, or read up more Vista XP Linux booting.

PPS - Ain't ubuntu great, fits on a CD and gets your old bombs back into
servicable use _ I do all me web publishing on it.

I got the Vista, XP, Ubuntu Triple-boot going. Only thing is that I think
Vista is just XP with a redesigned interface. Only new features are all the
extra security and the gadget sidebar. To answer your question, all of the
partitions exist on one physical SATA 250GB drive. To install I did was put
Vista into the E:/ partition and reinstall Linux, simple as that. Now when I
load the computer GRUB appears and I have 4 options:

- Ubuntu Linux
- Ubuntu Linux (safe mode)
- Ubuntu Linux Memory test
- Windows Boot Manager

Here, when I choose a ubuntu option, it boots Linux and when I choose the
Windows Boot Manager, the Vista bootloader loads and asks me whether I want
to boot Vista or "an earlier version of Windows, meaning in my case, XP".

Yes, Ubuntu is great. I can't wait for the new version Ubuntu Linux 6.10
Edgy Eft (supposed to have all new "edgy" features). There is already a Beta
2 of Edgy Eft available for download.

Thanks

Must GRUB reside in a dedicated partition, or in a Linux partition,
or can it reside in *any* partition? Or does it reside in the MBR?
