I've just installed, on a seperate hard drive, windows 98 so I can continue
to run programs that are not compatible with windows XP.
I know XP can be configured to allow for a dual boot start-up but I don't
know how to set it up.
I would appreciate any HELP.........

Normally a dual boot arrangement is created by installing Win98 first to C
and then installing XP to another partition. The boot menu included with XP
is setup for you automatically.

There is a way to retrofit Win98 onto a system that already has XP on it
but there are some caveats. The method and the specifics are discussed at
MVP Doug Knox' site: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_repair_9x.htm
