Dual boot with two disk drives...

I have rebuilt a machine with a single hard disk (one partition) that
contains XP Pro. I have an older machine that has a completely bootable
copy of Windows 98. Is there a way to setup the XP to dual boot using a
second drive as the slave? I have been reading about the partitioning
software (such as PartitionMagic) but I was hoping that I would have to
change the partitioning. Is this the only way to setup my system? As you
can tell I'm a bit confused and would like to get "unconfused" :) Thanks!

Your biggest problem is that the software on the 98 drive will all be mapped
to the C:\ drive.

It is possible to install 98 as a dual boot after installation of XP, as
Doug Knox shows how on this page:

but to be honest I think you would have a nightmare. better to format and
reinstall 98 again if you do want a dual boot, or use the old drive as slave
to XP
