yes u can install 98 after xp but reverse is not possible

becaz xp will overwrite the mbr over 98..
the thing to remember it will be better if you use fat 32
while installing xp

This is false. The recommended installation order is Win98>>Win2000>>WinXP
for multiboot systems. However, it is possible to install both Win2000 and
Win98, after installing XP first.
