dsl router cgi error

[Forrest Loomis]

installed new router. At login, after entering user name
and password, a new window comes up registering a cgi
error and asks for another name and pass word. Will not
connect to the net. ISP says it is not recognizing
scripts and we need to turn on java scripting. Anyone
know how?
