Drop Down

I have lost all of my drop down email addresses when I open a new email and
start to type a name.

I have checked my settings in tools and everything is ok.

I did have to hard boot off my computer and it was after that that all was
lost. Have rebooted several times (as sometimes that fixes it) to no avail.

Any ideas?
 
The drop down nickname list is only that - a list, it's not contacts nor
saved in Outlook as part of the Outlook data file (PST). It's simply a
convenience but definitely not a way to save contacts data.
