Drop-Down Text Color

Is there a way that I can display a different color of text for lists in a
drop-down box, and have that color remain when the drop-down choice is made
and shown to the user?

Bob,

You can set the color of the resulting text after you have made your
selection, but I don't think there is any way to color the text in the
actual dropdown display.
