You don't state the reasons why you think that you need the real-mode
drivers for the CD-RW drive, but if it is because the drive is not displayed
in My Computer and there is an error message displayed beside the drive in
Device Manager, then please have a look at this MSKB article:

Please note that the title of the article is a little misleading, as the
problem and its resolution is not limited to the removal of Easy CD Creator.
