Driver installation (Printer HP)

My OP: Win 2000 (SP 4)
My Printer: Laserjet 3030 AIO
My Connection: Parallel Port

I installed driver first time on my computer without
problems (installation) but due to some problems I
uninstalled it for trying it again. (with the uninstall
routine from HP)

From this time the installation routine only comes to
detecting the printer (he detects all correct) but then he
hangs up and didn't continue the installation routine.
"First Aid" actions like reboot, empty all /Temp
directories, ... did'nt help and now I don't know what I
could do more.

I installed driver then manually. So printing, telefax does
work. But there was no communication with PC (like scan, or
fax by pc, or work with toolbox) possible.

Try uninstalling it through the control panel. Then open the Explorer or my
computer and physically delete the HP directory. Try the installation again.
By the way, did you remove the printer using Control Panel>Printers? And
finally, what does the "at" in your address stand for. Austria?
