driver for Paper port on brother printer

The Brother printer MFC P2000 comes with Paper port for
scanner. The Brother web site states that the scanner
driver with paperport is not yet available for XP. The
driver for 2000 cannot be used for XP. The printer driver
has no problem.

Any help?

I ran into this problem as well. I could find no solution. So, I'm
going to buy a separate scanner - possibly from HP who usually
understands the value of long-term support - and never ever buy a
Brother product again. That's a shame because their hardware is good
and served me well. Whoever is their executive in charge of software
maintenance fully deserves firing on the spot as he or she doesn't
understand the new reality of the market - cash is tight and the
Customer is the King.
