Driver for HP Photosmart C3180 All in One

I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista, and then bought a
new HP all in one printer. When trying to install the printer, I got a
message that there is a compatibility issue, and a driver for full use does
not exist, but one would be coming shortly. Does anyone know if a driver
has been released yet that will allow me to use the full print/copy/scan
features of my printer? Currently I can only print. Thanks.

a) Even though it's a brand new printer, did you check the box to see if
there was big writing on it saying FULLY VISTA COMPATIBLE? Otherwise you
would only expect the CD to contain the drivers and software for XP.

b) Had you checked their website BEFORE installing the incorrect drivers,
you'd find out that a full package is available at:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1146331&lang=en

Now you will have to uninstall COMPLETELY and DISCONNECT the printer...
reboot the PC, download the new software, and install it. Do NOT reconnect
the unit until the software tells you to do so.
