Hi,

It's a Samsung YP-T5, the software that came with it doesn't have the driver
I need.

Thanks.

Most portable media players have two components. The driver
for the device and a separate interface program. It's used to help
organize/transfer and synchronize your music between the portable
and your PC music collection. It's likely found in the software part
of downloads for the device.

I downloaded the driver but I'm still getting a ! through device driver.
I've been into the software that transfers the music to my MP3 player from my
PC but they are still not talking to each other.

Hi

If it is a USB device, uninstall it via Device Manager, then disconnect it
and reboot your system. After the reboot, install the software and
reconnect the device when asked to.

First expand or unpack the driver update you downloaded. Then
go to Device Manager, Right click the Player and left click Uninstall.
Then reboot, it will re-enumerate the device but don't let it automatically
install the driver - Step it though the process of manually providing the
driver and source path to the driver.
