downloading

i tried to order the latest version of mcafee antivirus, and it sent me to
windows to download the latest version of explorer. according to my computer
(run/winver, i have version 5.1. when i try to download later versions it
says they are already running. how do check or how do i download?

Hi,

If you're running WinXP, you're running the latest version of Windows,
Explorer, and Internet Explorer. The web site may be telling you to download
and install the latest service pack if you haven't already.
