Downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader

I have a Dell 3000 and Windows XP. I can't install Abobe 7. I uninstalled
version 6 and downloaded version 7 which seems to be a mistake. It will not
install. It freezes up on the Adobe Dowload Manager. I have AdAware,
SpyBot, Microsoft Anti-Spyware and RegScrubXP. Would any of these be
preventing my installation? Thank you.

Foxy Foxit! I paid $39 for Foxit Reader on 8 Aug and have yet been able to
use it! No tech support--no refund! No way to uninstall it! With WIN XP, Home
Ed, Svc Pack 3, there are some sites I need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader to
open, but to install I get msg that setup has detected I have a more
functional product and terminates. Foxit not on Add/Remove programs. Have to
Search for Foxit to find a folder for it. When I click on the folder a black
Foxit screen opens with tasks listed at the top, but--I can do
nothing...nothing! What a waste of my money--and can't get it off my computer
to use Adobe Reader!!!

Try downloading and using Windows Installer Cleanup. That sometimes works
for programs that you can't uninstall and don't appear on "add/remove
programs".
