download.trojan

winxp is infected with download.trojan detected by norton
but unable to be deleted. i have tried to delete it by
turning off system restore and removing it in safe mode
and by deleting the temporary int. files folder where it
is located. no joy.

search on google for a program called gipo@utilities,
once installed, it has an option of deleting anything
that you can not remove. never failed yet.

Have you tried to boot in safe mode and run the virus
scan. sometimes this will remove it
