download.trojan virus

hi ya'll. I've got an infection: C:\WINDOWS\system32
\IEAccess2.dll is infected with the Download.Trojan virus.
The file was quarantined.
I booted in safe mode & followed symantec's procedure to
remove infected files and none were detected.
How will this quarantined file affect IE operations in XP?
thanks,
nancy

The trojan is a Spyware parasite.

If the file is quarantined, you don't need to worry about it.
Although, you may open the quarantine contents via Norton
and delete the file which would be prudent practice.

SpyBot Search & Destroy or Lavasoft's Ad-aware will detect
and delete the file.
