Download Specification...Odd Question

This may sound extremely daft...

When you click to download a file, normally you get the 'Open' and 'Save'
options...
Additionally I have the security warning and the 'Always ask before opening
this type of file' ticked.

However, when I download one particular file extension, which was working
fine earlier, (I must have unticked the box by accident) it automatically
downloads to temp internet folder and immediately opens.

How do I stop this? I have tried everything I can think of, help centre
tells you how to do it but not how to reverse the settings, any help would be
appreciated!!

Thanks,

Sarah

Sarah,

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that filetype:

Open Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File Type tab
Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype click the
"Advanced" button.
Then check the option "confirm open after download".

Primarily for Office documents like .doc. I'd like to configure this setting
across several thousand servers, without having to go through the UI on each
one.
