I was tired of always clicking on a download link and
then having to select save as, so I checked the don't
aske me this again box at the bottom. Now whenever I
click on a download link it automatically opens it.

Is there a way to change the computer settings the the
dialog box starts to pop up and ask again?

To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download"
option for that filetype:

Click "Start" -> "Program Files" -> "Windows Explorer".

Then click "Tools" -> "Folder Options".

Change to the "File Type" tabs.

Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype (example :"PPT
Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation") and click the "Advanced" button.

Then check the option "confirm open after download".

Also, set the "NoSelectDownloadDir" to "0"
