Download bar doesn't appear...

....recently, I've noticed that when I go to do any downloads or want to
install an ActiveX component, the yellow bar that appears at the top of the
Internet Explorer page, isn't appearing, which means I am having a problem
installing things. What have I done to stop this appearing?

OK - sorry - I called it wrong - it's the information bar that does't
appear.

Hi Gus,
Go to Tools >> Internet Options >> Privacy Tab >> Click on Pop-Up Blocker
Settings Button and on the Pop-Up Blocker setting locate the following under
the option header titled;
Notifications and Filter Level:
[ ] Play a sound when Pop-Up is blocked check this if wish to hear a sound
[ ] Show Information Bar when a Pop-Up is Blocked check this Box.
Also check your Filter level set up level is it low or medium.
