Download and save Microsoft Updates?

R

realdeal99

I remember reading an article recently (Can't remember where but I
thought it was PCWORLD) wherein they gave you instructions on how to
download all Microsoft updates for XP and save them to disk to be used
at a later date however, I can't seem to find it :(

I often help friends when they need to do a clean install of Windows
and this would be a tremendous help. I have already created a disc
using the slip streaming method to get SP2 to install without having to
download it but I would LOVE to be able to download all Microsoft
updates and save them to disc so I don't have to keep downloading them
every time I reinstall windows.

If anyone can't lead me to the article or provide the instructions, I
would be very grateful.

Thank you.
