Hi

I've just purchased a laptop which has XP pre-installed, however I need W2K
for some of my applications. Is there a way of downgrading to

W2K, normally I'd put in the W2K CD and reboot and install it from boot up,
but this laptop only has USB CD ROM and Floppy so that

possibiliy isn't an option. When I put the W2K CD in while in XP it just
tells me I've already got a newer version and won't let me

install it, can't run WINNT32 either.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Daniel

Thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately my Floppy and CD-ROM are both
USB so that's not an option, any other suggestions?

if you go into the bios, you might well find that you CAN boot from a USB
CD...my Toshiba laptop can certainly boot from a USB Floppy.
