doubleclick favorites

How can I get IE6 to NOT open favorites when I click on
them just once? I need them to open when I doubleclick. I
cannot find any option in IE that seems to relate to
this. I have WinXP Pro. All my files and folders are set
to open when I doubleclick so there must be something
somewhere in IE--I hope.

that is the nature of the beast.
best bet is keep favorites in folders.
keeps the list smaller.
Links is also handy as a second toolbar instead of pesky
google/yahoo toolbars.
 
It seems like IE should give us a choice. Having it this
way is really inconven ient for my circumstances. Anyway,
