Double upgrade

I just ran the XP upgrade cd to get from ME to XP Home
Edition. I chose the NTFS file system as outlined in the
documention because I met the requirements (large disk,
etc.) However, XP was loaded onto the system twice.
Anyone know how to get rid of one of the installations?
