I'm having a little trouble with My Windows Xp machine.
In the startup folder there are programs that I want to start up when I
logon to my machine. I see that all programs are actually being loaded twice
at logon. When I look in MsConfig I can see all programs that are in my
startup folder twice, i.e. there will be two identical "Startup Items".
However, One "startup item" will have the "Common Startup" location and the
other will have the "Startup location". If I disable one of the two
identical's they both get disabled and the program will not start at logon.
If I re-enable it again, it will start twice again and there will be the two
identical "startup items" with the two different "locations".
Has anybody a clue what's going on here? It's like I have a double start-up
folder, but as far as I know I don't.
Hope somebody can help me with this one.
Cheers,
Luke
