DOS Game - 11th Hour

Have recently loaded XP and game won't work - worked fine on ME. Downloaded DOSBox and got further but now it is giving me error message about the VESA - the game needs VESA 2.0 BIOS. Any ideas how I get round this problem? I completed 7th Guest recently and want to get on with this sequal. Best regards

7th Guest and 11th Hour have a lot of fans who play it using XP. This article:

to run it successfully.

Chris H recommends "going to www.google.com and doing a search for files
t7g*.zip and 11h242.zip. These are updates for 7th Guest and 11th Hour which
are quite helpful.".

Here's some general supplemental information which you should find useful ;-) ...
11th Hour has been made to work using Windows 2000 compatibility mode:

The VDMS Launchpad from the VDMS Sound page can simulate VESA
support, or try using the Multiboot bootdisk from: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~lpcd/downloads.html .

With DOSBOX you can emulate a DOS computer on your XP desktop:
