Dos Client and 2003

I inherited a CNC machine that has a legacy dos client on it. It was
originally connecting to 2000 server via netbeui. However the company
upgraded to 2003 server which does not support netbeui so I need to make the
dos client chat via TCP/IP. I have TCP/IP loading but no success with it
attaching to the network. I can ping the server bet get an error when I try
to auto login to the domain. My guess is that the security template is not
permitting me to send clear text passwords. I am looking for some good docs
on configuring dos clients using TCP/IP any help would be great

Try setting the default domain controllers group policy: Computer
Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, Security
Options to disable:

Domain member: digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always)
Microsoft network client: digitally sign communications (always)
Microsoft network server: digitally sign communications (always).

It works for me.
