Problems printing to a redirected LPT from DOS

HELP!!!
I have redirected LPT2: on a win2000 workstation to a
local printer on a NT4Server.
My problem is that often in my DOS application I get the
message 'LPT2: not ready' and I have to try several times
before my printjob goes off. Sometimes it just work.
If it is any help I have NetBEUI and TCP/IP on my
worckstation, and NetBEUI on the server. I need NetBEUI
for my DOS application.

Another correspondent of mine found that he solved a similar problem by
using the information found in MSKB article 101850. This person set the
value to a much lower number (1 second in this case). This may or may not
work for you. Tweak to find the best response setting.
