Domain/Workgroup Print Server Help

I have a home workgroup that contains a print server (Netgear). The print
server is assigned a static IP address (192.168.0.150). When my wife works
from home she would like to be able to use our printers. She is on a domain
and connects using VPN. I can ping the print server from her machine (it is
running XP Pro), but I cannot get the print server software running on her
machine to recognize the print server. I have read various posts about using
the LMHOSTS file or using the 'Net Use' command but I am not clear on this
issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...Mike DeAngelis

Neither LMHOSTS nor Net Use is needed. However, if she doesn't have local
admin rights, she can't add a local printer (standard TCP/IP port), so you'd
be best off sharing the printer from a Windows workstation or server and
having her connect to it that way .... \\computer, and right-click on the
printer name.
