Domain Controler locking up

I have a Windows2k Domain Controller that keeps locking up around the same
time ever Saturday. There are no event logs associated with this event.
The only thing I can seem to find is a backup that is scheduled to run at
that time (Veritas). This server also serves as my datacenter backup server
and has Veritas software running on it as well. There are no other issues
when all other backups run so I don't know if this is the culprit or not.
The server has all current patches, updates, etc... Any help would be
greatly appreciated...

make sure no other tasks are scheduled like defrag of the drives. You should see errors in the Backup logs of BE concerning the failed backup job. Look there for clues.
