NTBackupUP Win2k

I have a Win2k server and the system state backup fails uses Veritas
BackupExec 10.1d as well as ntbackup.

The ntbackup error indicates that the user does not have permissions to
portions of the default and software registry, sometimes it lumps in
security as well.

Tried as domain admin, local admin, added to backup operators groups,
already in local admin group, directory permissions on system32, config, the
files in those all seem to grant admin full control, also ran regedt32 and
clicked through tons and tons of key (not 100%) and everything seems fine
there.

Is there anyway to pinpoint the sections of the registry that are causing
this?

You need to tell us if the job works or fails when run in the
foreground and the same when run as a scheduled job.

You should also post the ntbackup log file.

Lastly you should tell us if you're backing up local drives
or networked drives.

Thanks for the reply.

The sole item being backed up is the system state of the local machine by
manually initiating ntbackup.

Here is the log.
