I have a wirless and hard wired combination network at
home. What I would like to accomplish is use my laptop
both at work and at home. Is there a way of having both
a domain and a workgroup on the same computer? Please
advise.

No. However, you can switch between the 2 setups. Warning - do not remove
your laptop from your work domain. Once you do you may be locked out of
your computer. Unless you are a domain administrator, you won't be able
to do this without the network administrator's assistance. I use a
program called MultiNetwork Manager. This program will save as many
setups as you like. I am able to switch from work domain to home domain
from wireless to wired very easily. You can download a trial version at
http://www.globesoft.com. Initially, the net admin will need to enter the
domain admin password into your program in order to allow joining the
domain.

If you don't want to do this, you can simply name your workgroup the same
name as your domain. This will allow you easily share files with your
laptop and home computers without removing the laptop from the domain.
