Does Vista32 Backup and Restore do registry?

Question about Vista32 Backup and Restore. Does it backup and restore the
registry? Thanks for the help. Bob

Background info: AcerAMD4400+64X2 320gbHD 4GBmemVista32bitHomePremSP2

I like the ease of the automatic backup of Vista32 Backup and Restore. I
just learned Vista32 Windows Mail stores rules and other things in registry.
I do all the work setting up my rules and if I have to restore my hard drive
I would be very disappointed if my rules are lost. Does Vista32 backup save
or backup the Windows Mail registry entries?

The best would be if you can repost this to the Windows Mail newsgroup where I
believe there is a way to save and back up rules set up in Windows Mail. Post it
asking if and how can you save rules that are set up or something similar
