Does Earthlink mail store message folders and addressbook on the local C drive ?

(Sorry for the xpost to a MS group, buy AFAIKT the earthlink groups
are not very active.)

I've been asked to recover docs and address book data from a now
non-bootable C drive for someone. I've found everything but the
Earthlink material, and I've never used Earthlink, myself. She says
she didn't use any of the POP-type mail clients, TB, netsacpe, OE,
Outlook, etc, and if it's web mail everything is on the server of
course.

Does Earthlonkl give the users the choice of of earthlink's own
software ? where does it store it's data and how can I dump the
address book and mail folders into something usefull ?

If EarthLink's Web Mail was used, all the email data is still
on the EarthLink Web Mail server and not stored in Windows XP.
To access it, you'll need to sign-in:
