Does anything similiar to remote desktop exist in windows 2000 prof.?

I think this question must have an answer, I have the answer of VNC (www.realvnc.com), but is there anything exist from Microsoft. Or we have to move to XP to use the remote desktop

Microsoft makes nothing that is similar to Remote Desktop that will run on
Windows 2000 Professional.

The MS product that comes closest is NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing (RDS). NetMeeting in built-in to XP and W2K and can *NOT* be upgraded. To start NetMeeting on an XP platform go to "Start -> Run" and type conf at the command line to start the wizard. Look at this KB article for additional help..

Please note that RDS is *NOT* compatible with XP Remote Desktop.
 
Everybody else has given correct answers.

I've sold more than one XP upgrade, even over a relatively new Windows 2000,
based on Remote Desktop alone as a feature.
